Hello,
When signing up for the blackberry internet service my isp ask for the pin
and the esn numbers. I can find the pin number but there is no esn number. I
looked under the battery and in the status option on the phone and nothing.
From what I can find out this is for cmda not gps device phones.
Thank you

ESN (electronic serial number) is for CDMA only. GSM phones do not
have an ESN. The closest thing to an ESN that GSM phones have is an
IMEI <http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/IMEI>

Verizon has BBs that do both GSM (is that what your "gps" meant to be?)
and CDMA. They'd have not only both PIN and ESN numbers but IMEI as well.
